What better place to spend a weekend than at the New Jersey shore during late September? During the weekend of September 20 through September 23, a huge collector-car auction and car show will be held in Wildwood, New Jersey.
The auction begins September 20 at 6 p.m. inside the 125,000-square-foot Wildwood Convention Center on the boardwalk. The auction is presented by the Greater Wildwood Hotel & Motel Association and Broadwalk Classics Inc. of Douglassville, Pennsylvania. The boardwalk will be filled with 2.5 miles of classic cars and trucks.
To date, some of the early consignments for the auction are: a Sunfire Yellow 1967 Corvette, 427-435hp model; a 1971 Olds 442 with a W-30 engine; a 1970 Plymouth AAR ’Cuda; a red 1970 Plymouth Superbird from the Harrah collection; and a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 with the Rally Sport package.
If you register your auction car before September 1, you can save $100. For more information, call 609-522-4546, or visit www.wildwoodnjclassiccarauction.com.
